I hate turbo c |
Who should read this ?
Currently Turbo C users
Why am I writing this post ?
I am writing this to make your aware about the trend.
Why should you read ?
To know the best available tool for programming.
Advantages
You will know about the new compiler and IDE ( Integrated Development Environment ).
Disadvantages
You have to leave turbo C
I was a turbo c user till 21 Jan 2013, But Now I am (GCC and G++) user and I am using this in Linux and Code::Block IDE in Windows and Linux.
When I was learning C/C++, In my college Turbo C was used to teach the c/c++, So I learned turbo C, and became the master in using Turbo c, I created many project in c and c++ using turbo,
In turbo c there is popular header file conio.h, I was the fan of this file and specially one function clrscr() was my favorite function, without this function, I could not write a single program in c and C++.
But when I joined many group and forums of c programming, I come to know that I am following very outdated trend, If people see your program in which you have used these shit( conio header file specially) .
They will behave you like you don't know anything in programming.
My Suggestion , If you are using Turbo c now , JUST DELETE IT .
And Install fresh one , I will not confuse you to tell the a lot of avilable option for writing c and c++.
I will give only three choose The best suited one.
Code::Block (Cross Platform)If you are the beginner you can choose Code::Block the best IDE I ever used. It does not matter whether you are Linux or window or a mac user , It runs in all platform.
Eclipse (Cross Platform)It is best solution for all it does not matter whether you are a c programmer or PHP or JAVA or PERL or
It is available for most of the language.
If you are thinking to learn more programming language after C/C++, and Want to make career in Programming , I recommend it.
If you will use this IDE, It will help you write Android App, Java Software,PHP app etc.
Visual StudioIf you are the fan of windows, and want to make software for windows operating system, This is best IDE for you. It include all the Library which you need to write the software for windows operation system.
What compiler am I using. ?
I am a ubuntu user and I like terminal a lot.
I am using Sublime text 3 for writing code and using gcc to compile the c code and g++ for c++ code.
